Enjoy a light & airy home by upgrading your patio doors

uPVC French & patio doors from Eurocell offer East Devon homeowners the ideal way to open up their living spaces & welcome the outside in. Our sensational sliding patio doors are a simple, modern & classic way to conserve space, whilst our fantastic French door range offers a more traditional, charming feel to any home they’re applied to.

uPVC in-line sliding patio doors can be configured in an array of sizes, with the choice between two, three, or four-panes, so they can fit both smaller and large openings. uPVC French doors have the choice of straight-edged, contemporary ‘chamfered’ or traditional ‘ovolo’ frame styles. This makes them the perfect solution to further broaden your living area, letting the natural light in. We also offer aluminium lift and slide patio doors which provide unique slimline frames, and like our uPVC door collection, will enhance your home’s thermal performance and home security.

What's the difference between Patio and French Doors?

The phrase ‘patio door’ is no longer a singular style of the door: French doors, sliding doors & bi-folding doors are now popular options for a patio door. However, what is the difference between French and Sliding patio doors?

The key distinction between these 2 fashionable door designs is the opening mechanisms. Sliding patio doors slide along a track and open to the side, whereas French doors open away from the house on a hinge. Sliding patio doors usually consist of two panels. To open the second panel stays in place, and the moveable panel slides into it to create an entryway.

French doors (you guessed) originated from France and can be seen in homes all across Devon & the UK. The style became popular around the 17th Century, so has a traditional character, but thanks to the modern material uPVC and its ability to come in any RAL colour, it can be designed to look as modern or as traditional as you like. Sliding doors, on the other hand, has a more modern design. They are great for small entryways as they do not require much space and due to the large panes of glass, let a vast amount of natural light into the room.

Our high-quality patio door products come in an array of colours and with the option of customisable hardware, you can design your new patio door to compliment your style and home.

"Brilliant local company. Installed a new door for my father (after a recommendation by a friend). Great product, great price, but (& I can not stress this enough) their kindness & care dealing with an elderly gent, especially regarding the guarantee (so both myself as his son & he could have a copy) was amazing. I genuinely did not believe service like this existed any more. Lovely people to do business with & a company I can thoroughly recommend."

"Through a recommendation, I popped into the office to see if they could help me source a new door handle. Nick was extremely helpful and ordered one for me through a company they use. I will certainly recommend the company to family and friends and I will use them for replacement windows and doors in the future. Many thanks for the free tin of silicone spray!"
