With their specially made locking system, stable doors are a fabulous alternative to the standard back door.
As shown by the pictures, the bottom half can remain locked whilst the top is openable. Simply shut the door, lock the two leaves together, and the door will operate as a single opening door.
The stable doors are fitted with the usual high specification locks and barrels that are fitted to all our other doors, and furniture is available to suit the finish of the door.

In addition to the composite type, stable doors are available in PVCu. Operation remains the same as can be seen from this photograph, and whilst prices are lower than the composite versions, there is no lack of quality, as this door is fitted with a Yale multi-point lock with shootbolts to join the two leaves together.

There is the usual choice of furniture finish as with all PVCu doors (wrought iron furniture limited to composite doors)

Can be glazed to suit with clear or obscure glass, or panelling to replicate the original cottage stable door look.
