At Doors & Windows (Exeter) Limited, we can manufacture arched or angled frames, or make a feature of any window or door with leadwork, bevels, films or even by sandblasting.

We were approached by a customer wishing to replace the glass in their existing interim door.

They wished to have a new colour scheme running through the glass, and designed the layout themselves.

They chose the colours required from the extensive range of coloured films, the lead thickness and opted for a sandblasted finish to the glass.

The results were spectacular, and the hall is now a lighter and more spacious place to be, and when the sun shines through, the colours can be seen on the internal walls.

With an artist friend, our client first requested samples of glass to paint on.

Discussions took place to determine the options available, and with our extensive knowledge of the finishes available, we were able to suggest one of two finishes that may be suitable to paint on.

The choice was made, and the painting took place. The glass was then encapsulated in a sealed unit to preserve the painted surface, and delivered to the customer for installation.
