Brief: The client required brown powder coated aluminium frames for clean, slim sightlines. All glazed with high specification 24mm double-glazed sealed units for optimum thermal efficiency.
See below notes on various aspects of the project, or the gallery at the bottom for images.
Main Window
This magnificent window spanning the whole height of the house consisted of black glass to seperate the floors. The angled top section was also darkened to obscure the view of the attic space from outside whilst still allowing natural light in.
PATIO SLIDERS
These patio doors with the single slider were chosen due to them having the narrow central bar in the middle to allow the most light in and maintain the best view through. The opening side gives plenty of room for easy egress into and out of the building, whilst maintaining security.
FIXED WINDOW
The client wished to make a feature of this fixed window and so following a conversation between the client and Doors and Windows it was decided that this simple and elegant design provided the right look whilst maintaining a view through the window.
REAR VIEW OF PROPERTY
Following the completion of the job the client was extremely pleased with the work that had been done. I think anyone would agree that the products selected and installed by Doors and Windows (Exeter) really set this house apart from the rest.
